You want to learn to improvise over a jazz standard, but don't know where to start?
This 3rd module focuses on two guide tone lines over a jazz standard. Don't know what a guide tone line is? Don't worry, you will learn all about it. Think of guide tone lines as your harmonic/melodic guard rails through the song.
In this no-nonsense approach I give you concrete exercises and guidance on how to get you scatting:
We will practice two guide tone lines through:
· Learning the guide tone lines
· Practicing singing them against each other

· Introducing upper and lower neighbors
· Slowly removing the guard rails
We will practice all of the above with the song "Fly Me To The Moon", a classic jazz standard, if there ever was one!
